Mission Statement

Camden County Alzheimer's Project, Inc., (CCAP) is a Georgia 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized by local volunteers and dedicated to providing community-based support, services, and educational opportunities for those living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, family caregivers, and professionals; supporting on the national level, research for better treatment and a cure.

  • Largest Caregiver Support Group in Georgia (40% from Kingsland, 40% from St. Marys, 20% of families from Woodbine)

  • 2018 Largest 3rd Party Walk in Georgia ($62,000 raised in cash and in-kind donations)

  • Since 2016, over 1000 Camden residents have donated over $109,000 to Alzheimer's causes

Currently there is:
(1) ONE Memory Care Facility in the County with NO Practicing Neurologist in the County
ZERO Percent of those funds have gone directly to programs and services in the County
