Volunteer
The Camden County Alzheimer's Project is always looking for volunteers to help with events, the Walk, and those willing to be trained to provide respite care for a family member serving as the primary caregiver for a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's or Dementia. A respite care volunteer would sit with the loved one so their family member could go to a movie, out to dinner, or just have a couple of hours of free time. If Alzheimer's or Dementia has touched your life, please share your story, whether it's why you walk, volunteer, care for someone, or support the cause. Your words might be the encouragement a caregiver needs to get through the day, motivates someone to volunteer, or just provides comfort to a family member who has lost a loved one.
